A Little About Me….

OverSixtyInsights grew out of my own journey navigating the financial realities of approaching my sixties. After spending more than 30 years focused on a career in finance, I found that when it came to my own financial picture, there were still important decisions to revisit, refine, and better understand.

Like many in this stage of life, I began taking a more intentional approach to retirement planning—thinking through income strategies, investment allocation, taxes, and how to make my money work efficiently for the years ahead. That process sparked a desire to share practical insights, lessons learned, and thoughtful strategies to help others feel more confident about their financial future.

Today, I continue to focus on making smart financial decisions while also embracing what this stage of life offers—time with family, especially as a grandparent, staying active, and continuing to learn. Through OverSixtyInsights, I aim to help others create not just financial security, but a life that feels both purposeful and well-lived after 60.

Lifestyle Thoughts….

While finance has been the focus of my professional career, life after 60 is about much more than money. Recently becoming a grandparent, staying active through regular workouts, and spending time reading and learning are some of the things that bring joy and perspective to this stage of life. In these sections, I share insights and reflections to help you live well, stay engaged, and make the most of your years after 60.
